What is Shut The Box by Velocity Promotions?

Shut The Box by Velocity Promotions is a traditional dice game that may date back to the 1200s. It rose to prominence as a common pub game in the United Kingdom in the 1960s. Thousands of variations exist today and the game has even been the basis for various game shows!

What's included in the box?

Every Shut The Box by Velocity Promotions game comes with:

• 1 Solid Beech wood game box with hinged top and magnetic closure

• 1 Paper instructional sheet

• 2 10mm acrylic 6-sided mini-dice

What materials do you use?

All of our games are made from 100% solid Beech wood and come with two acrylic mini-dice.

Orders & Shipping

How will my order ship?

All orders in the contiguous US will ship free via USPS Economy rates.

We do not currently offer International Shipping.

When will I receive my order?

Orders ship by the end of the next business day (Monday-Friday), barring US holidays and weekends.

Orders shipped via USPS Economy have a shipping estimate of 2-8 business days.

How do I track my orders?

After your order is shipped, tracking info will be sent in an email to the address provided during checkout.

If you can't find or do not receive a tracking info email, please Contact Us.

Can I send orders as a gift?

Absolutely! Simply enter the gift recipient's shipping info during checkout. If you'd like to add a message with your gift, add it to the Order Notes section and we'll include it in the package.

Do you ship to International addresses?

Currently we only offer International Shipping to Canada and the United Kingdom. We hope to expand our International Shipping to other countries in the near future!

All prices on our site are in US dollars. You will be charged at the current exchange rate by your credit card company.The recipient is the importer of record and must comply with all laws and regulations of the destination country. The recipient of an international shipment may be subject to import taxes (VAT), customs duties, and fees which are imposed once a shipment reaches the recipient’s country. Additional charges for customs clearance must be fulfilled by the recipient. Velocity Promotions has no control over these charges, nor can Velocity Promotions predict what they may be. Please note that International orders do not qualify for free shipping.

Returns & Exchanges

Do you offer returns or exchanges?

We hope you'll love your Shut The Box by Velocity Promotions game, but we do offer refunds within 30 days of purchase. Items must be in good condition with original packaging and buyer assumes shipping cost.

If your order meets certain conditions or arrives damaged, please contact us at support@shuttheboxgame.com for an exchange/replacement or head to our Contact page.

My order never arrived or arrived damaged

If you do not receive your order within two weeks of shipment, please contact our support team at support@shuttheboxgame.com to file a claim with the courier and get a replacement out to you ASAP.

If items in your order arrive damaged or defective, please contact our support team at support@shuttheboxgame.com.

Can I cancel my order?

If your order was placed by mistake, please contact us at support@shuttheboxgame.com as soon as possible.

Do you charge sales tax?

For any orders shipping to Texas we charge 8.25% sales tax.

When will my credit card be charged?

Your credit card will be charged immediately upon placement of an order.

Custom Products

How long is fulfillment for Customized Products?

Production typically takes 1-2 weeks once the order is placed, depending on the quantity ordered. Shipping varies and can take up to 6 days for domestic delivery after production is completed. You will receive the tracking number via email once a label has been printed.

Can I return my Customized Product?

Customized orders cannot be returned, except in the event of defect, or damage or loss during shipment. If you wish to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at support@shuttheboxgame.com and send your item to:

All returns or exchanges must be requested within 10 days of delivery. To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging. Photos may be requested by Shuttheboxgame Support to determine the nature of the defect or damage.

Once your order is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your request. If you are approved, then your order will be remade and shipped to you within 10 business days.

If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.

What options are there for custom designs?

All custom designs include one text area and up to three images. Images can be uploaded from your device or can be chosen from our curated ClipArt gallery.

Will I get a proof of my custom design before production begins?

You will receive a downloadable proof of your custom design during the checkout process and an additional proof may be requested from Support@shuttheboxgame.com before production begins.
